Gulf Coast Veterinary Surgery Orthopedics and Neurology is hiring enthusiastic technicians!! We are a group of seven veterinary specialists and five associate veterinarians, all supported by a group of dedicated and skilled technicians trained to handle the unique caseload we receive from our referring veterinarians. The Client/Patient Service Coordinators are the doctors right-hand, relaying information to the clients and staff while organizing the daily activities of the veterinarian. They are also the client advocates, discussing the entire peri-operative surgery experience, scheduling and coordinating the patients daily procedures, ensuring the clients needs and concerns are appreciated on all levels. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and above all, compassionate people with great interpersonal skills for our fast paced small animal referral hospital. We need someone who is organized and able to do multiple tasks. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with appointments, client communications, computer entry, and also routine technical skills that include venipuncture, suture removals, IV and urinary catheter placement, anesthetic monitoring, management of incisions, drains, and bandages, etc. We need someone who has a strong interest in assisting with special needs patient.
