Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital (BMAH) located at the ASPCA New York City Headquarters office at 424 East 92nd Street between First & York Avenue. BMAH is an animal medical facility that offers state-of-the-art digital radiography, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, endoscopy, ultrasound, cardiology, dermatology, spay/neuter and vaccines.

We operate with a 19 doctor practice, and a staff of 60 employees treating over 20,000 patients a year! We have a high?quality ICU and offer 24-hour nursing care by Licensed Veterinary Technicians in our hospital. We have board certified specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Dermatology and Pathology. We also have a veterinary internship program as well as internships for veterinary technicians. BMAH handles a high volume emergency practice and supports our ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement (HLE) officers with cruelty investigations. We are premiered on Animal Planet?s Animal Precinct television show. BMAH also supports our busy ASPCA adoptions department with their more challenging medical cases.

The Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital is accredited by both the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the New York State Veterinary Association (NYSVA).

BMAH hires NY State Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT?s) or licensed eligible Technicians and is seeking highly dedicated technicians to join the BMAH medical team.

Our technicians rotate through surgery, recovery, treatment, radiology, pharmacy, intensive care, and our general wards including isolation. If you are looking for a fast paced, rewarding work environment that will utilize all your skills as a LVT this is the job for you!

Qualifications:

New York State Licensed or Licensed Eligible Veterinary Technician from an accredited Vet Tech program.

Salary Ranges: For fully licensed Veterinarian Technicians starting salary: $20.00/Hourly (w/ annual salary increases). Please send cover letter and resume with LVT in the subject line.
