Internal Medicine Technician

Responsibilities include:
High level focus on client experience and customer service
Joining the flow of the practice and ensuring high quality care for our patients.
Leading and mentoring technical staff on best practices and high-quality care.
Participate in training and development of technicians.
Work with Internist to grow and expand Internal Medicine services
Experience doing Internal Medicine procedure, which include;
Endoscopy (rigid and flexible)
Glucose Curves
ACTH Test
Joint taps
Complicated anesthetic cases
Comfortable using an anesthetic ventilator
Administer anesthesia; monitors patients during anesthesia and recovery; administers fluids
Prepares estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients supporting hospital financial policies
Successful candidates will have:
5+ years of experience working as an LVT
Exceptional technical skills (ability to draw blood, place IV catheters, etc.)
Proven experience mentoring and training others and the ability to maintain positive, cooperative relationships with team members
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
