Pet Health Specialist @Maven - Remote and Part-time

WHO WE ARE
We are a new pet tech company composed of a mix of engineers, designers and veterinarians, that focuses on improving pets' quality of life with technology, and providing peace of mind to pet owners. Maven provides a way to keep track of the pets safety, health and well-being continuously through veterinary expertise. Pets dont talk so we help them communicate.

Maven was started by the founders of Findster Technologies. After a few successful years dedicated to helping owners track their pets' location, we wanted to do more. Maven's mission is to change pet care as a whole, by taking a preventive approach.

Maven's hardware continuously tracks each pet, gathering detailed information regarding their location and activity over time. This data is cross-referenced with their individual profile by Mavens AI. Relevant behavior changes are brought to our Vet team's attention for further examination, allowing accurate diagnosis.

WE WANT SOMEONE TO
Give direct advice to pet owners on health, nutrition, training and best habits.
Write blog posts/articles on the same topics.
Respond to user queries in a timely and accurate way via email, chat or video call.
Manage individual interactions with existing users and prospective new customers.
Follow-up with users after previous interactions, to ensure their satisfaction.
Inform customers about new features and functionalities and help customers use specific features.
Gather customer feedback trends and feature requests to share with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS
Veterinary Technician Degree or higher
Mother Language: American English
Experience in a Customer-facing role
Experience using Zendesk or a similar Help desk software is a plus
Problem-solving and proactive attitude to work with others as a team or independently in order to meet targets and business goals
Ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to evaluate and tweak approaches based on a comprehensive understanding of our business goals.
Availability for a schedule of 40 hours a week, one that may span weekends and holidays.
Passion for innovation and desire to have a direct impact on peoples (and their pets) lives.
