Veterinary Ophthalmology Technician

We are looking for a veterinary technician to join our specialty group in Austin, Texas. Were seeking a veterinary technician that has extensive veterinary anesthesia and client education experience. Applicants with at least a veterinary technology associates degree, credentials (CVT, LVT, RVT) or bachelors degrees are preferred but not required.
Must have at least 3 years of full-time paid veterinary technician experience in veterinary anesthesia, operating rooms, pack prep, exam rooms, laboratory, advanced technician skills (IV catheter placement, venipuncture), patient care, small animal handling, client communication and computerized record keeping. Proficient computer and typing skills are required. Veterinary ophthalmology experience is a plus but is not required.

Consider a fabulous work schedule! We only work 4 days per week! Weekends and holidays are off except for rotational on-call for emergencies. We typically work 10-12 hour long days for four days a week then have 3 days off for our personal lives.
